Style of Jolie
Style of Jolie
In 2012, Beverly Hills jeweller, Robert Procop joined forces with actor and director Angelina Jolie to create a collection of jewellery the proceeds of which would benefit the charity co-founded by Ms Jolie, The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. The charity strives to build schools and provide education for children in areas of devastating conflicts and high refugee concentrations. Both pledged to donate 100% of the profits to the charity.
Now, as Robert Procop shows his Exceptional Jewels collection for the first time at an international show, he has announced that the latest additions to Style of Jolie will be unveiled at GemGenève, in Geneva, in May as part of the contemporary Designer Showcase, curated by jewellery historian, Vivienne Becker. The collection includes magnificent one-of-a-kind creations set with exceptional Colombian emeralds, as well as jewels set with stones such as tourmalines, green beryls and citrines. The distinctive style of the powerfully contemporary collection, featuring Ms. Jolie’s signature ‘tablet’ design, is pure and elegant, architectural and sculptural.
Alongside the new Style of Jolie jewels, as a world exclusive, Mr Procop will also reveal the Zahara limited edition series, created by Robert Procop and Angelina Jolie in collaboration with Ms Jolie’s daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt. This vibrant, youthful series of rings, chain necklaces and pendants, and anklets, is set with a variety of stones, including black spinel, rose quartz, white crystal, in rose and white gold.
Both Ms. Jolie and Mr. Procop have pledged to donate 100% of the profits from the Style of Jolie collection to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. The Partnership has already completed construction on two primary schools in Afghanistan, and there are plans for additional schools to be built in the near future.
