Violaine holds a Master Degree in Art market and Cultural heritage Law. While working for several auction houses in their Jewellery departments, she studied gemmology and obtain her Gem-A diploma.
Violaine holds a Master Degree in Art market and Cultural heritage Law. While working for several auction houses in their Jewellery departments, she studied gemmology and obtain her Gem-A diploma.
After one year with a Jewellery dealer, she joined Cartier High Jewellery department as a colored stones buyer for six years.
Violaine joined Chaumet in October 2022 and is in charge of the Heritage Jewellery Collection.
Among her missions: authenticating Chaumet jewellery, acquiring heritage pieces, sharing and lending the collection for Chaumet or other institutions’ exhibitions in order to promote the story of the Maison and of French jewelry.
