Inspired by the craftsmanship and artistry behind each piece, she pursued a Gemmology Diploma through Gem-A. Determined to share her expertise, she founded KaterinaPerez.com and launched her Instagram platform in 2013, both of which have become internationally recognized hubs for luxury jewelry enthusiasts.

Born in Russia and now based in Paris, Katerina honed her skills at Tiffany & Co., Chaumet, Asprey, and Boghossian. Yet, she found herself drawn more to storytelling than sales. In 2011, she left retail behind to become a freelance journalist and content editor, dedicated to telling the untold stories of the jewelry world.

With the launch of her website and Instagram platform in 2013, Katerina became one of the first writers to bring high jewelry into the digital age, shaping a new era of online jewelry journalism.

Highly regarded for her expert opinions, Katerina’s work has appeared in Vogue, L’Officiel, and Robb Report, and she is frequently invited to write for books, brochures, and exhibitions.

Her passion? Championing talented jewelers worldwide, from renowned brands to emerging designers she personally scouts.
