Among consumer publications she writes for Vogue and Robb Report Singapore. On the trade side, she writes for Rapaport magazine (US), JNA magazine (HKG), Gems & Jewellery (GEM-A, UK), and the Natural Diamond Council (Global). Her foray in the industry began in 2014 when she started visiting gemstone mines and manufacturing hubs to become a knowledgeable buyer.
Her work as a digital storyteller on Instagram (@richagoyalsikri) garnered the attention of organization in the industry, which led to several prestigious storytelling and ‘edu-tainment’ projects for museums, jewellery companies, and trade associations.
In July 2020, mining and marketing company Gemfields commissioned Richa to write a book: a collection of short adventure stories, based on actual events related to coloured gems from Africa. The book is due for publication around September 2023.
